| Ajijic House Beautification Contest! Ajijic |

Ajijic home and business owners are being invited to get into the spirit of Mexico’s Independence Bicentennial and Revolution Centennial by being creative and dressing up their properties with decorative paintings.

This can be anywhere from a simple decoration around your door, to a mural done on the outside of your property! You have the option of painting your own creation or having one of the local artists who is participating in the project to realize your creation!
The “ Pinta Tu Fachada” ( Paint Your Façade) initiative supported by the Delegacion town administrator Javier Rojas, with backing from the local artist and community leaders, is an open theme contest to encourage local residents to add a colorful splash of creativity to the exterior walls, doorways, garage doors, even the telephone poles as part of the patriotic celebration. Even if you don’t register, you are encouraged to enhance the beauty of your property.
Rules
Contestants are required to register in the House Beautification Contest by July 16th with a 100-peso registration fee. The deadline for completing the project is September 3, to allow for judging in time for an awards ceremony on September 15th.
You’ll get the chance to win the following cash prizes:
1st Place: 6,000- pesos
2nd Place: 4,000- pesos
3rd Place: 2,000- pesos
All participants will receive a certificate of participation for taking part in the effort to beautify Ajijic
