BEGINNING PHOTOSHOP |
Galeria Quattro photographers, Jill Flyer and Luis Mancera McCormick, are again offering their popular class on Beginning Photoshop.
|
The class will be held on 4 consecutive Thursdays at the Cultural Center (Old Train Station) in Chapala, starting on February 17th from 1 –2:30 p.m. Cost is $500 for the course. The first 10 people who sign up will receive a free calendar featuring Jill & Luis's photos and those of the 2010 photo contest winners.
The class will assume no prior knowledge of Photoshop and will start with how to set up & access photo files. You will learn how to do change the contrast, control light & dark, and work with hue saturation. You will also learn how to how to clone images, how to sandwich two photos together, how to cut & paste, how to change colors, how to apply a wide variety of filters, how to deliberately distort photos and more. There is so much to learn!
Luis and Jill project what they are doing on a large screen so that you can follow along. Everyone will receive a practice CD, loaded with the same photo that is used in class. If you bring a laptop, you can work along with them; if not, bring paper & pen, so you can take notes and re-create the examples on your practice CD on your desktop. Classes are taught in both English and Spanish.
For more information, please call Jill @ 766-3025 or write her @ fotoflyer2003@yahoo.com.
