| Get Real About Getting Older |

On November 28, acclaimed author and seminar leader Susan Campbell, Ph.D. will be offering sage advice and practical tools for "Thriving During Our Wisdom Years" in San Juan Tecomatlan, 10 am-4 pm. Dr Campbell is on tour from the US visiting her friend Hans Beets, owner of Lake Chapala Paradise Inn (www.LakeChapalaParadiseInn.com).

The seminar will take place at the Inn and is open to anyone who speaks English, whatever their age. Cost is 250 pesos per person and 400 pesos per couple.
Hans met Dr Campbell at a lecture she gave several years ago in the US. He immediately began discussing with her his wish to bring her to Mexico to share her wisdom and her fun-loving spirit with his friends here.
The workshop will engage participants in exercises and shared inquiry around the following questions:
-What are the typical “crises” of your stage of life, and how can you meet these changes with skill, grace, and a sense of adventure?
-What feels unfinished in your life and what you can do to gain a sense of completion?
-What Life Lessons call for your attention, and what strategies will serve you best given your particular, unique nature?

Dr. Campbell is 68 years old and has a sincere interest in exploring the important and useful lessons that come with the later stages of life. An avid adventurer and proponent of "living your life out loud," she has lived in other cultures, made, lost, and re-gained millions, and spent 2 years of her adult life sailing her 47-foot sailboat around the world. She has worked as a relationship coach and teamwork consultant for Fortune 500 companies for over 42 years. A former professor at the University of Massachusetts, she is author of nine books on the topic of relationships and human communication. Her most recent work centers on how to use honest, aware communication as vehicle for personal and spiritual evolution. This body of work is described in her best-selling, Getting Real: 10 Truth Skills You Need to Live an Authentic Life. Her work has been featured in many popular magazines including New Woman, Psychology Today, Self, Harvard Business Review.
